List sponsor benefits for one tier with accurate numbers
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're the outreach chair for the Bellmont College Hiking Club, writing the "What you get" section for a $250 sponsor tier. Write at most 3 bullets, each under 18 words, listing only the $250 tier's benefits with the verified attendance numbers. Plain text, no heading or intro.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Mixing tiers. The AI lists every benefit in the notes, including the $500 extras. Try: Add: "Only the $250 tier's benefits."
- Using the guess. "600 people" is in the old deck and sounds bigger. Try: Add: "Use the sign-in numbers: 220 and 180."
- Too many bullets. The AI writes a full sponsor pitch with headings. Try: Add: "At most 3 bullets, each under 15 words."
- Getting formatting. The AI bolds the tier name as a heading. Try: Add: "Plain text, no heading."
What a strong prompt includes
- Limits to the $250 tier
- Uses verified numbers
- Limits the bullets
- Skips the $500 extras
- Asks for plain text
