List event sponsors by tier with names spelled right
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're writing the sponsor thank-you section for the Eastbrook 10K recap post. Write exactly 4 numbered lines in the shape Sponsor name - tier, ordered from highest tier to lowest, with each name spelled the way the sponsor wants it. Leave out the sponsor who withdrew, and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing the withdrawn sponsor. Moss & Pine is in the sponsor list, so the AI includes it. Try: Add: "Leave out Moss & Pine; they withdrew."
- Old or short names. The AI uses Kettle Corn Co. and Summit Peak PT. Try: Add: "Use Kettle & Kernel and Summit Peak Physical Therapy."
- Wrong order. The AI keeps the list's original order. Try: Add: "Gold, then Silver, then Bronze; alphabetical within a tier."
- Getting a thank-you paragraph. The AI writes a long thank-you post with bold sponsor names. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Orders by tier
- Uses preferred names
- Drops the withdrawn sponsor
- Sets the line shape
- Asks for only the list
