Write loyalty tier lines after this year's perk changes
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You own Basil & Brine, a sandwich shop, and are updating the loyalty program card. Write exactly 3 numbered lines in the shape Tier - points needed - perks, each under 18 words, reflecting this year's changes. Don't promise anything that was removed, and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Copying last year's tiers. Last year's tiers are complete and easy to copy. Try: Add: "Apply Teo's Jan 2 changes."
- Missing the threshold change. Silver's start point moved, which also changes Bronze's top. Try: Add: "Silver starts at 200, so Bronze is 0-199."
- Promising removed perks. The AI keeps the Bronze catering discount and the every-visit drink. Try: Add: "No Bronze catering discount. Gold drink is once a week."
- No line shape. The AI builds a table with bold tier names. Try: Show it: "Gold - 400+ points - ..."
What a strong prompt includes
- Uses the changes
- Gets the thresholds right
- Drops removed perks
- Sets the line shape
- Asks for only the list
