Write messaging pillars, each backed by approved proof
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're drafting the messaging framework for Hearthline, a home energy audit company. Write exactly 3 numbered pillars in the shape Pillar name: proof point, with the pillar name under 4 words and the proof point copied from the approved list. Don't use the rejected stat, and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the rejected stat. "Up to 40%" is the most exciting number in the notes. Try: Add: "Only approved proof. Never 40% or best-rated."
- Vague proof. The AI writes "proven savings" without the number. Try: Add: "Copy each proof point from the approved list."
- Long pillar names. The AI writes slogan-length pillar names. Try: Add: "Pillar names under 4 words."
- Getting a framework doc. The AI writes a full framework with bold sections. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the line shape
- Uses approved proof
- Rules out the rejected stat
- Says how many
- Asks for only the list
