Write neighborhood highlights with distances and no school ratings
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're an agent writing the "Around the neighborhood" section of a listing flyer. Write at most 4 bullets, each under 14 words, each naming a place and its distance from the house using the corrected distances. Don't rate schools or describe the neighbors, and use plain text with no heading.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the wrong distance. 0.9 miles appears first; the correction is under it. Try: Add: "Light rail is 1.3 miles."
- Echoing the seller. "Best schools" and "super safe" are the seller's words, and the AI repeats them. Try: Add: "No school ratings, no safety or neighbor descriptions."
- Vague highlights. The AI writes "close to everything" without distances. Try: Add: "Each bullet: place - distance."
- Too many bullets. The AI lists every place plus a summary, under a bold heading. Try: Add: "At most 4 bullets, plain text, no heading."
What a strong prompt includes
- Uses the corrected distance
- Asks for distances
- Rules out school claims
- Rules out describing people
- Limits the bullets
