Write one-line speaker bios with current titles
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You're adding speaker bios to the registration page for Quarry Point's retail analytics webinar. Write exactly 3 numbered lines in the shape Name, Title at Company - one credential, each under 20 words, using each speaker's current title. No hype words (expert, guru, world-renowned, thought leader), and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using old titles. The old deck title comes first, so the AI uses Senior Analyst. Try: Add: "Hana is now Director of Retail Insights."
- Missing the brand spelling. The AI writes "and" instead of "&". Try: Add: "Write Tallow & Twine with the ampersand."
- Adding hype. Speaker bios in the AI's training call everyone an expert. Try: Add: "No expert, guru, world-renowned or thought leader."
- Paragraph bios. The AI writes a paragraph per speaker with bold names. Try: Show it: "Name, Title at Company - one credential."
- Extras. The AI adds an intro line about the webinar. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 numbered lines, nothing else."
What a strong prompt includes
