Write wholesale pitch subject lines with the new minimum order
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
You own Sundial Bakehouse and are emailing local cafe owners about wholesale pastries. Write exactly 4 numbered subject lines, each under 9 words, aimed at cafe owners. If a line mentions the minimum order, use the new one; never promise daily delivery (it's 3 days a week); and reply with only the plain-text list.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old minimum. 2 dozen appears first in the notes. Try: Add: "Minimum is 3 dozen now."
- Promising daily delivery. The AI assumes bakeries deliver every morning. Try: Add: "Delivery is Tue, Thu, Sat, not daily."
- Name-dropping without permission. Fernwood is great proof, so the AI uses it. Try: Add: "Don't name Fernwood."
- Getting a long list. The AI writes 10 options grouped by tone, in bold. Try: Add: "Exactly 4 numbered lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Says how many
- Uses the new minimum
- Avoids daily delivery
- Skips the cafe name
- Asks for only the list
