About this exercise
You're a freelance email copywriter updating your website. Write a prompt for an About paragraph in first person, exactly 3 sentences and under 60 words, plain text, with no words like passionate, guru, rockstar or ninja. Use only the facts in your bio notes that you can prove, and leave out the client names you aren't allowed to share.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Boasting about results. The AI turns 'doubled revenue' into a headline. Try: Say: "Use only proven facts; no revenue claims or famous brands."
- Naming NDA clients. The AI includes client names from the notes. Try: Say: "Don't name Hearthline or Petworth."
- Hype words. AI bios default to passionate and rockstar. Try: Ban the words by name.
- Third person. The AI writes 'Corinne is a copywriter'. Try: Say: "First person, exactly 3 sentences, under 60 words, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
