Draft a short customer story about Orchard Bikes using Halcyon Scheduler. Write a prompt for plain text, under 140 words, with exactly 2 direct quotes copied word for word from the approved list, each followed by the speaker's name and title. Use only results marked approved, and don't paraphrase anything inside quotation marks. First line is the headline, which must not contain a quote.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Adding the tempting quote. The AI loves 'paid for itself in a month' and the 30% figure. Try: Say: "Use only items marked approved; leave out held, removed and unverified items."
  • Polishing the quotes. The AI tidies quotes, which changes what the customer approved. Try: Add: "Copy quotes word for word; never paraphrase inside quotation marks."
  • Skipping attribution and results. The story reads like marketing copy with no sources. Try: Ask for the name and title after each quote and the approved results.
  • Letting markdown through. AI adds bold text and headings by default. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and often runs past a word limit. Try: Cap each part (for example "each line under 15 words") so the total lands well under the limit.
