About this exercise
A press release includes a stiff quote from Hana Ito, VP of Product at Glasswing Systems. Write a prompt that rewrites it in a natural spoken voice: first person, exactly 2 sentences, under 35 words, with one concrete fact from the facts list, followed by the attribution line "- Hana Ito, VP of Product, Glasswing Systems". No word like thrilled, excited, pleased, delighted, leverage or best-in-class. Plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Keeping the corporate words. The AI trims but keeps 'best-in-class' or 'excited'. Try: Name the banned words.
- Using several facts. The AI crams all three facts in. Try: Say: "Use exactly one approved fact."
- Wrong length. The AI writes 3 to 4 sentences. Try: Say: "Exactly 2 sentences, under 35 words."
- Letting markdown through. AI adds bold text and headings by default. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
What a strong prompt includes
