Turn kickoff call notes into a six-line campaign brief

About this exercise

You ran the kickoff call for the Brightloop spring promo and need a brief the team can scan. Write a prompt that turns the notes into exactly six lines, in this order, each starting with its label: Goal:, Audience:, Message:, Channels:, Budget:, Campaign end:. Keep each line under 15 words, plain text, with no intro or sign-off. Use only the notes, and use the final figure when something changed.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Using the first figure you see. The notes change twice, and the AI often grabs the first budget and end date. Try: Add: "If a figure changed in the notes, use the final one."
  • Listing every channel mentioned. The AI treats anything that came up in the call as a channel, including dropped ones. Try: Add: "Channels are only the ones the team agreed on, not ideas that were dropped."
  • No fixed labels. Without labels the AI writes a paragraph or its own headings. Try: Spell out the six labels in order and say each line starts with its label.
  • Letting markdown through. AI adds bold text and headings by default. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and often runs past a word limit. Try: Cap each part (for example "each line under 15 words") so the total lands well under the limit.

What a strong prompt includes

  • Names the six labels
  • Asks for final figures
  • Limits each line
  • Asks for plain text
  • Says to use only the notes
