Write a webinar page with three learning bullets and a who-for line
- For Marketing and content
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write a prompt for the registration page text for the Pinecrest webinar: a heading line "What you'll learn", exactly 3 dash bullets that each start with a verb and are 12 words or fewer, then a line starting "Who should attend:" of 20 words or fewer. Use only the agenda's learning items, not the Q&A, break or sponsor demo. Plain text, under 80 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing the whole agenda. The AI turns every agenda line into a bullet. Try: Say: "Only the three learning items; skip welcome, sponsor demo and Q&A."
- Promising a recording. The AI adds 'a recording will be sent'. Try: Say: "Don't mention a recording or certificate."
- Wrong structure. The AI writes headings and paragraphs. Try: Give the heading, the 3 bullets and the label line.
- Letting markdown through. AI adds bold text and headings by default. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and often runs past a word limit. Try: Cap each part (for example "each line under 15 words") so the total lands well under the limit.
What a strong prompt includes
- Gives the heading and label
- Sets 3 verb-led bullets
- Limits to learning items
- Bans recording promises
- Caps length
