About this exercise

Write a prompt for a schedule with exactly five lines starting "Mon:", "Tue:", "Wed:", "Thu:" and "Fri:". Each line has the activities with their times and who runs them. Include the rule about not driving the forklift until certified. Leave out anything that isn't part of the week-one plan. Plain text, under 110 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Leaving out the driving rule. The AI lists the classroom but not the no-driving rule. Try: Say: "On Tue include: no driving until he passes Thursday's practical."
  • Including side notes. The AI adds parking and the broken coffee machine. Try: Say: "Leave out parking, coffee and the badge photo."
  • Dropping times or names. The AI writes 'orientation' with no time. Try: Say: "Include times and who runs each activity."
  • Getting markdown back. AI adds bold, headings and bullets by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
