About this exercise
Reply to Greg in plain text, under 140 words. First line exactly: Subject: Re: Skipping the structured interview. Keep a collaborative tone and make no accusations. Give exactly three reasons from the notes why the structured format helps the team, each on its own line starting with "- ", and include the exact sentence: I can pre-book the panel for Tue/Wed so we finish by Nov 13. Do not cite laws or claim legal risk. Last line exactly: Thanks, Sofia. HR reviews before sending.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Accusing. The AI hints at favoritism. Try: Say: "Collaborative tone, no accusations."
- Legal scare. The AI says skipping it creates legal risk. Try: Say: "Do not cite laws or claim legal risk."
- No time-saving offer. The AI only defends the process. Try: Say: "Offer one concrete change that saves him time."
- Exact lines. The AI writes its own subject and sign-off. Try: Say: "First and last lines exactly as given."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
