- For Revenue operations
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write an FAQ for new sales hires with exactly 4 pairs. Each pair is "Q: ..." on one line and "A: ..." on the next (answer under 25 words). Cover, in order: how commission is calculated, when it's paid, what happens at 100% attainment, and what happens if a customer cancels. Use the 2026 plan only. Plain text, no promises about future plan changes.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the retired plan. The AI mixes 10% quarterly and 180 days. Try: Add: "Use the 2026 plan only."
- Repeating a rumor. The AI mentions the $200K cap. Try: Add: "No mention of future or draft plans."
- Wrong order. The AI covers topics in its own order. Try: Add: "In order: calculation, payment, 100% attainment, cancellation."
- Long answers. The AI writes paragraph answers. Try: Add: "Each answer under 25 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the Q/A shape
- Lists the four topics
- Restricts to the current plan
- Bans future promises
- Limits answer length
