About this exercise
Write an FAQ for reps about a new feature with exactly 3 pairs, "Q: ..." then "A: ..." on the next line, each answer under 22 words. Cover availability, which plans, and whether it integrates with an accounting tool. Answer only from the notes; if the notes don't say, the answer is "Ask the Product team in #product-launches." Plain text.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Promising integrations. The AI says integrations are coming soon. Try: Add: "If the notes don't say, answer: Ask the Product team in #product-launches."
- Repeating beta feedback. The AI says most beta users liked it. Try: Add: "No beta feedback or customer names."
- Wrong plans. The AI includes Starter. Try: Add: "Business and Premium only."
- Long answers. The AI writes paragraphs. Try: Add: "Exactly 3 pairs, answers under 22 words, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets Q/A format
- Covers the three topics
- Handles unknowns
- Bans future and beta claims
- Limits length
