Draft a 5-signal lead score table whose points total 100
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Build a lead-scoring rubric as a markdown table with columns Signal | Points | Why, using exactly the 5 signals the data supports (highest points first). Points must add up to exactly 100; show the sum on one line after the table starting "Total:" like "Total: 30 + 25 + 20 + 15 + 10 = 100". Why quotes a number from the conversion data. Skip any signal with no data. Under 120 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Points that don't add up. The AI picks 5 numbers that sum to 95 or 110. Try: Add: "Points must total exactly 100 and show the sum."
- Using signals with no data. The AI includes social media follows. Try: Add: "Skip any signal with no data."
- Wrong order or vague why. The AI orders by its own idea or writes 'important'. Try: Add: "Highest points first; Why quotes a number."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI adds commentary. Try: Add: "Each Why under 8 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Asks for a table
- Fixes the count
- Requires a total of 100
- Limits to data-backed signals
- Requires numbers in Why
