Count loss reasons from a raw list and rank them with shares
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Count the loss reasons in the raw list and make a markdown table with columns Reason | Count | Share, sorted by count from most to fewest (ties alphabetical). Share is count divided by the total, whole-number percent. Do not adjust the shares if they add to more or less than 100. Add a Total row. No bold, nothing outside the table, under 70 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Miscounting the raw list. The AI estimates counts. Try: Add: "Count each entry carefully; the counts must add to 15."
- Adjusting the shares. The AI forces them to 100%. Try: Add: "Do not adjust rounded shares."
- Following the director. The AI says Price is 60%. Try: Add: "Use the list, nothing outside the table."
- Wrong tie order. The AI puts Other first. Try: Add: "Ties alphabetical."
