About this exercise

Make a markdown table with columns Stage | Last week | This week | Change in $K and rows Discovery, Demo, Proposal, Negotiation, then Total. Change is this week minus last week with a sign like +20 or -30. Amounts in $K. Exclude Closed Won. After the table add one line starting "Net:" with the Total change and the words "vs last week". No bold, under 80 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Including Closed Won. The AI adds the 150. Try: Add: "Exclude Closed Won."
  • Missing signs. The AI writes 30 instead of -30. Try: Add: "Show signs like +20 or -30."
  • Agreeing with the manager. The AI says pipeline grew. Try: Add: "Check the totals; Net: line gives the real change."
  • Bold and extras. The AI bolds Total. Try: Add: "No bold; under 80 words."
