Triage five RevOps requests into P1, P2 and P3 by the rules
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Triage the 5 requests in a markdown table with columns Request | Priority | Rule. Priority is P1, P2 or P3; Rule is the number of the first rule in the triage list that matches (like R1). Check the rules in order, from R1 to R4. Sort rows P1 first, then P2, then P3, keeping the original order within a priority. Under 100 words and nothing outside the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Skipping the first-match rule. The AI assigns R3 to the report. Try: Add: "Use the first rule that matches, checking R1 to R4 in order."
- Not sorting. The AI keeps the queue order. Try: Add: "Sort P1, P2, P3; keep original order within a priority."
- Extra text. The AI adds explanations. Try: Add: "Nothing outside the table, under 100 words."
What a strong prompt includes

- States first match wins
- Sets the sort
