- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Reply to a customer asking what she'd save by paying annually. Plain text under 90 words. Show three lines of math: monthly total for a year, annual price after the discount, and the saving. Then state the catch from the notes in one sentence (what changes if she cancels). Start with the saving, and don't add benefits that aren't in the notes.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Starting with greeting or benefits. The AI starts with thanks and a list of perks. Try: Add: "Start with the saving."
- Math errors. The AI applies 15% to one user or one month. Try: Add: "Show the three math lines for 2 users for 12 months."
- Hiding the catch. The AI omits the non-refundable terms. Try: Add: "State the catch in one sentence."
- Invented extras. The AI adds free onboarding. Try: Add: "Use only the notes."
What a strong prompt includes
- Asks for the saving first
- Asks for three math lines
- States the catch
- Stays inside the notes
