About this exercise
Write a Slack message to your sales engineer, Yusuf, in plain text with exactly 4 lines starting Ask:, Context:, Deadline:, Link:. Ask is one specific request. Context is one sentence from the notes. Deadline is a day and date. Link uses the placeholder [deal link]. Under 60 words, no emoji, and no "quick" or "when you get a chance".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Vague ask. The AI writes 'can you help with the Tolliver deal'. Try: Add: "Ask is one specific request."
- No day and date. The AI writes 'soon' or 'ASAP'. Try: Add: "Deadline: day and date."
- Banned phrasing. The AI writes 'quick ask' or 'when you get a chance'. Try: Add: "No quick or when you get a chance, no emoji."
- Chatty message. The AI writes a greeting and a paragraph. Try: Add: "Four labeled lines, plain text, under 60 words."
