About this exercise
Your reps keep losing to Rivalo in small-clinic deals. Make a battlecard as a markdown table with columns Topic, Rivalo, Us and exactly 4 rows in this order: Price, Setup time, Integrations, Support. Use Rivalo's current 2026 price, and leave out the rumor about Rivalo's layoffs. Under 150 words. Every cell is under 10 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Getting a long competitor essay. The AI writes overview, strengths, weaknesses and talk tracks with headings. Try: Give the shape: "A table with columns Topic, Rivalo, Us and 4 rows: Price, Setup time, Integrations, Support."
- Using last year's price. The notes give both $49 (2025) and $59 (2026); the AI may grab the first. Try: Add: "Use Rivalo's current 2026 price."
- Repeating gossip. The AI includes the layoff rumor as a selling point, which reps then repeat to buyers. Try: Add: "Leave out the unconfirmed layoff rumor and any insults."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and runs long when you only give a total like 150 words. Try: Cap each part instead, like "each cell under 15 words," so the total lands well under 150.
What a strong prompt includes
