About this exercise
Dev Sharma said he needs to run the proposal by his boss. Write a short reply in plain text under 60 words. It must start with "Totally fair,", offer a 15-minute call that includes his boss by name, and end with one question asking what his boss will care about most. Mention no deadlines and no discounts.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Leading with the discount. The AI sweetens the reply with the 5% offer or the Nov 20 expiry. Try: Add: "Mention no deadlines and no discounts."
- Missing the opener. The AI starts with 'Thank you for your reply!'. Try: Add: "Start with 'Totally fair,'."
- Several questions. The AI ends with a list of questions or an open 'let me know'. Try: Add: "End with one question: what will Helen care about most?"
- Long and formatted. The AI writes a full email with bold text. Try: Add: "Plain text, under 60 words."
