- For Sales and customer success

- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Advanced
About this exercise
Write a customer story blurb for the website in plain text under 130 words. Use only the approved metrics in the notes. Include the customer's quote word for word if it is in the approved list; otherwise write [quote pending] instead of making one up. Put the headline on line 1, as "Headline: ..." under 12 words. Do not name the customer unless the notes say naming is approved.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Naming the customer. The AI uses the real name for credibility. Try: Add: "Do not name the customer; call them a six-clinic veterinary group."
- Using unverified numbers. The AI adds the 22% no-show drop. Try: Add: "Use only approved metrics."
- Quoting an uncleared email. The AI uses the informal email line as a quote. Try: Add: "Use [quote pending] since no quote is approved."
- Long marketing fluff. The AI writes a long story with bold. Try: Add: "Plain text under 130 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the headline format
- Limits to approved facts
- Handles the missing quote
- Keeps the customer anonymous
- Sets length and style
