- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write a sponsorship ask to a local business owner. Plain text under 125 words, subject line first, starting "Hi Giulia,". Name the event and date, list the three sponsorship tiers with their prices as dash bullets, say what the sponsor receives only as listed, and make the ask a 15-minute call. Don't promise attendance numbers, media coverage or tax advice. Line 1 must be exactly "Subject: Sponsor Spring Kickoff Day" and the email signs off "Sam".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Promising attendance or press. The AI says 'hundreds will see your logo'. Try: Add: "No attendance numbers or media promises."
- Tax claims. The AI says the sponsorship is deductible. Try: Add: "No tax advice."
- Wrong or missing tiers. The AI invents benefits. Try: Add: "List the three tiers and benefits exactly as given."
- Long email. The AI writes a long appeal. Try: Add: "Plain text under 110 words."
