- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a short email sending three questions to the buyer before the discovery call. Line 1 must be exactly "Subject: Three questions before Thursday". Start with "Hi Gus,". Plain text under 80 words. List exactly 3 numbered questions (1. 2. 3.), each an open question starting with What or How, under 15 words, with no mention of our product or price. State that answering is optional and sign off "Tara".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Reusing the closed drafts. The AI keeps 'Do you struggle...'. Try: Add: "Every question starts with What or How."
- Mentioning the product or budget. The AI keeps 'Would OrderPilot help?' Try: Add: "No product name, price or budget questions."
- Missing optional note. The AI doesn't say optional. Try: Add: "Say answering is optional."
- Wrong subject or length. The AI writes a long email. Try: Add: "Exact subject; plain text under 80 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets subject and opener
- Fixes three numbered questions
- Sets openers
