Match each prospect to one approved proof point
- For Sales and customer success
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Pick one proof point for each of three prospects, in a markdown table with columns Prospect | Proof point ID | Why. Use only proof points marked Approved, choose the one whose industry matches the prospect's, and write Why in under 10 words. If no approved proof point matches the industry, write "None approved" in the ID column. Nothing outside the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the withdrawn proof point. The AI picks PP-3 because the number is bigger. Try: Add: "Use only Approved items; never Not approved or Pending."
- Using a pending proof point. The AI picks PP-6 for education. Try: Add: "If no approved match, write None approved."
- Wrong format. The AI writes paragraphs and bold. Try: Add: "A 3-row table, no bold, nothing outside."
What a strong prompt includes
- Names the columns
- Limits to approved
