Lock down your gaming account using the help page
- For High school students
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
Your gaming account got logged into from somewhere you've never been. Write exactly 4 numbered steps to lock it down, in the order the help page gives them, each under 15 words, using only the help page's current steps. Plain text, under 70 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Generic tips. The AI adds 'use antivirus' and 'watch out for phishing' instead of the game's steps. Try: Say: "Only the help page's current steps, in its order."
- Old instructions. The AI includes text-message codes or security questions from older pages. Try: Add: "Text codes were removed; ignore the archived page."
- Too much text. The AI explains every step. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 4 numbered steps, each under 12 words, starting with a verb."
- Letting markdown in. AI adds bold and headings by default, and in your notes they show up as stray symbols. Try: Add: "Plain text only, no bold, no headings."
