Make AP Euro Reformation flashcards with a correction
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your AP European History quiz covers the Reformation. Make exactly 6 numbered flashcard lines in the form 'term (year if given): definition', each definition under 12 words, plain text, nothing else. Include the 3 terms Ms. Varga starred, use only your notes, and use her corrected date for the Peace of Augsburg.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not saying how many cards. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more cards than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 6 numbered cards."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Cap each card: "each definition under 10 words."
- Skipping the starred terms. The AI doesn't know the stars mean 'on the quiz'. Try: Add: "Must include the 3 starred terms."
- Not showing the card shape. The AI writes paragraphs with background on Luther and Calvin. Try: Show one: "Diet of Worms (1521): Luther refuses to recant."
- Missing the correction. Your typo is still in the notes next to the fix. Try: Add: "Peace of Augsburg is 1555."
What a strong prompt includes
- Says how many cards
- Mentions the starred terms
- Shows the card shape
- Uses the correction
- Says to use only the material
