Practice counting significant figures with your class rules
Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your Chemistry quiz asks how many significant figures numbers have. Get exactly 6 numbered practice numbers, then all answers together under an 'Answers' line, plain text. Include at least one number with trailing zeros and no decimal point, and follow Ms. Ruiz's rules, including her correction about those zeros.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not saying how many numbers. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more numbers than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 6 numbered numbers."
- Skipping the hard case. The AI picks easy numbers and leaves out the trailing-zero cases your teacher said cost points. Try: Add: "Include at least one number with trailing zeros and no decimal point."
- Missing the correction. Your wrong rule about trailing zeros is still in your notes, and other sources follow different conventions. Try: Add: "Use Ms. Ruiz's rules, including her correction."
- Answers next to each number. Seeing the answer right away means you never test yourself. Try: Add: "Put all answers at the end under 'Answers'."
