Make a subjunctive quiz from your trigger list

Practice: Keeping the AI to your sources. About 5 minutes.

About this exercise

Your Spanish 201 quiz tests when to use the present subjunctive. Get exactly 5 numbered fill-in-the-blank sentences in Spanish with the infinitive in parentheses, then all answers together under an 'Answers' line, under 110 words total, plain text. Use only trigger phrases from Profesor Vidal's list, and include one sentence where the indicative is correct, the trap she warned about.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Not saying how many sentences. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more sentences than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 5 numbered sentences."
  • Not limiting the triggers. The AI uses any subjunctive trigger it knows, including ones you haven't covered. Try: Say: "Use only the triggers from my handout."
  • Skipping the trap. The AI writes all subjunctive answers, so you never practice the one your professor always tests. Try: Add: "Include one Creo que or Es verdad que sentence that takes the indicative."
  • Answers under each sentence. Seeing the answer right away means you never test yourself. Try: Add: "Put all answers at the end under 'Answers'."
  • Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting, and it loves to add explanations to every answer. Try: Cap each part: "each sentence under 12 words, each answer one word."
  • Forgetting where it will be read. AI formats for a screen, with bold and headings that show up as stray symbols on a printed page. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
