Turn memory notes into flashcards you can import
- For College students
- You practice Asking for a format you can use
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Your flashcard app imports CSV. Get exactly one code block that starts with the header row front, back and then exactly 6 cards, each back under 10 words with no commas inside a card. Add at most one short line outside the block. Use your professor's correction.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Wrong file shape. Without a header row and a card count, the app import fails or the AI adds extra cards. Try: Say: "Header row front, back then exactly 6 cards."
- Commas inside cards. A comma in a card splits it into extra columns when you import. Try: Add: "No commas inside a card."
- Missing the correction. The AI copies your wrong note about 2 minutes. Try: Add: "Short-term memory lasts 20-30 seconds, per Prof. Alvarez."
- Not asking for a code block. Without one, the AI mixes the data into chatty text. Try: Say: "Put it in exactly 1 code block."
- No line limit in the block. The AI writes as many lines as it likes. Try: Say: "At most 7 lines inside the block."
- Wordy around the block. The AI adds chatter around the answer. Try: Say: "Under 25 words outside the block."
What a strong prompt includes
- Asks for a code block
- Gives the header row
- Says how many cards
- Bans commas inside cards
