- Time about 5 minutes
About this exercise
Your diner, Route 9 Kitchen, needs a photo of the new breakfast bowl for the online ordering menu, made with Gemini. Get Claude to write one paste-ready prompt, plain text, under 120 words: a prompt paragraph and a last line starting "Negative prompt:". It must say square 1:1 overhead shot and show exactly the bowl as served today (the 5 current ingredients, in the white enamel bowl), with nothing added that isn't in it.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old recipe. The brief mentions chorizo and cheese, and the AI may keep them. Try: Add: "Only the 5 current ingredients. No chorizo, no cheese."
- Making it fancier than real. The AI adds microgreens and sauce, which misleads customers about what they'll get. Try: Add a last line: "Negative prompt: microgreens, hot sauce, chorizo, cheese."
- Not giving the format. The AI picks a side angle that doesn't fit the ordering app. Try: Add: "Square 1:1, overhead."
- Headings and options. The AI gives several styled versions with tips. Try: Add: "Output only the prompt and Negative prompt line, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets shape and angle
- Lists the real ingredients
- Excludes the old recipe
- Adds a negative prompt
