About this exercise
Write a short report for Chief Compliance Officer Dana Whitfield from the training export. Plain text, three parts. Line 1 is exactly: Completion: X of Y (Z%), counting each person once, leaving out people on leave, and rounding to a whole percent. Then Overdue: with one dash line per overdue person as "Name (Department), due date". The last line starts Excluded: and names the people on leave. No advice about discipline. Under 90 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Counting the duplicate. The AI counts Pilar Gomez twice or as overdue. Try: Say: "Count each person once, using the latest row."
- Wrong denominator. The AI includes people on leave in the total. Try: Say: "Leave out people on leave from the total."
- Missing last line. The AI skips the exclusions or adds advice. Try: Say: "Last line: Excluded: names of people on leave. No advice."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
