Answer three QBR questions for new customers
- For Customer success managers
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Answer the three questions in pairs of lines labeled "Q1:" and "A1:" through "Q3:" and "A3:". Use only the current QBR policy. Each answer is under 22 words. Plain text, no intro or sign-off.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old 60 minutes. The AI picks up the earlier figure. Try: Say: "Use the current policy only."
- Adding extras. The AI adds sales talk about expansion. Try: Say: "Use only the policy; no extra content."
- Skipping labels. The AI writes friendly paragraphs. Try: Say: "Use Q1:/A1: to Q3:/A3: labels."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. The AI runs long and cannot count its own words. Try: Cap each part ("each line under 12 words") and add "under N words in total".
What a strong prompt includes
