About this exercise
Compare two ways to add 10 seats and recommend one. Write a first line exactly "Seat add: Larkin Learning", then exactly three lines starting "Co-term:", "Separate:" and "Recommend:". Show the math on the first two, like "10 x $30 x 5 = $1,500". Use the right per-seat rate for each option. Plain text, under 60 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the wrong rate. The AI uses $30 for both options. Try: Say: "Co-term uses the contract rate $30; separate uses list $36."
- Wrong months. The AI uses 12 months for co-term. Try: Say: "Co-term bills only the 5 remaining months."
- Recommending for sales value. The sales rep's comment tilts the AI toward separate. Try: Say: "Recommend for the customer's cost and renewal date."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
