Answer three metric questions with the current definitions
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Answer the three questions in pairs of lines "Q1:" and "A1:" through "Q3:" and "A3:". Each answer is under 22 words and uses only the current glossary (rev. Oct 1). Plain text, no intro or sign-off.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old definition. The AI says TTFV is days to first login. Try: Say: "Use the current glossary only."
- Skipping confirmation. The AI drops the customer-confirmed part. Try: Say: "Mention the customer-confirmed outcome."
- Dropping the labels. The AI answers in a paragraph. Try: Say: "Use Q1:/A1: to Q3:/A3: lines."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. The AI runs long and cannot count its own words. Try: Cap each part ("each line under 12 words") and add "under N words in total".
- Leaving a requirement unstated. The AI follows its own defaults unless the prompt spells this out. Try: State it plainly in your prompt: A3 says yes, weekends count because both metrics use calendar days, and each answer is under 22 words.
What a strong prompt includes

- Current glossary only
- Caps the answers
- No intro
