About this exercise
Output a table with the header "Week | Target minutes" and five rows for weeks 1 to 5, falling by the same number of minutes each week from week 1 to week 5, then a last line "Drop per week: N". Plain text, under 40 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old plan. The AI starts from 18. Try: Say: "Week 1 is 15 and week 5 is 7."
- Uneven steps. The AI rounds oddly. Try: Say: "Fall by the same amount each week."
- Missing last line. The AI stops at the table. Try: Give the last-line format.
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands well over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
- Gives the header
- States the endpoints
- Asks for the drop line
- Asks for plain text
