About this exercise
Using the PTO requests, return a table with the header Date | People out | Count for only the dates where 3 or more people are out. Dates in the form Dec 22. People out lists first names separated by commas. Sort by date. After the table add one line: Check coverage: followed by the number of dates listed. Include only approved requests. Weekends are not workdays. Plain text, no bold.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Including pending. The AI counts Ruth. Try: Say: "Include only approved requests."
- Wrong dates. The AI counts weekends or old calendar dates. Try: Say: "Weekends are skipped; use the corrected Marcus dates."
- Header and last line. The AI adds columns or a summary. Try: Say: "Header exactly Date | People out | Count and end with Check coverage: N."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
