About this exercise
Check the announcement draft against the approved facts. Write one line per statement in the draft, in order, formatted "N: OK" or "N: FIX - correct fact" where N is the statement number and the correct fact is under 15 words. If a statement is not in the approved facts at all, write "N: FIX - not approved". Plain text. You are checking facts only; HR approves the final wording.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Accepting the job-security line. The AI marks 7 as OK because nothing contradicts it. Try: Say: "A statement not in the approved facts is N: FIX - not approved."
- Missing wrong details. The AI misses the Jan 4 or 2 pm errors. Try: Say: "Compare dates, times and names against the approved facts."
- Format. The AI writes a paragraph review or loses the numbers. Try: Say: "One line per statement: N: OK or N: FIX - fact."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
