- For Legal teams
- You practice Keeping the AI to your sources
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Answer the four questions from the project owner. Plain text, lines labeled Q1: to Q4: followed by the answer on the same line. Every answer starts with either From the contract: (when the extract answers it, under 25 words) or Ask legal: (when it does not, or when the question asks for a legal view). Include any fixed period and what follows it. Never give a legal view yourself. Under 130 words total.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Answering the legal question. The AI says yes you can sue or no you cannot. Try: Say: "If the question asks for a legal view, answer Ask legal:."
- Guessing on the logo. The AI says logos are usually allowed. Try: Say: "If the extract does not answer, use Ask legal:."
- Stopping at year one. The AI says the price is fixed. Try: Say: "Include what happens after the first 12 months."
- Missing prefixes. The AI answers freely with no label. Try: Say: "Start every answer with From the contract: or Ask legal:."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI runs long. Try: Say: "Each answer under 20 words."
- Markdown. The AI uses bold prefixes. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold."
