- For Small business owners
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Pawsome Pantry is a local dog treat bakery. Write a prompt for exactly 3 numbered ad texts for Facebook, each 100 characters or fewer including spaces, each naming the town Rook Harbor, and exactly one mentioning the 15% first-box offer. No health or medical claims about the treats. Plain text, output only the 3 lines.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Making health claims. The AI says treats 'support skin health' or 'cure allergies'. Try: Say: "No health or medical claims."
- Offer in every ad. The AI repeats the discount in all three. Try: Say: "Exactly one ad mentions the 15% offer."
- Long ad text. The AI writes 150+ characters. Try: Say: "Each 100 characters or fewer; aim for 85."
- Wrong number of items. AI adds extra items or drops the numbering. Try: Say the exact count and show the format, like "1. Label: detail".
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets count and numbering
- Sets the character cap
- Requires the town
- Pins the offer to one ad
- Bans health claims
