List five contract questions for counsel without legal conclusions

About this exercise
Procurement is sending a supplier agreement to counsel. Write a prompt for exactly 5 numbered questions for counsel, each citing one section number from the excerpt and ending with a question mark. Do not say what any clause means legally, whether it is enforceable or fair, or whether to sign. Plain text, under 120 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Giving legal opinions. The AI says the liability cap is unfair or standard. Try: Say: "Ask only. Do not say what a clause means or whether it is fair."
- Missing a section. The AI covers four sections or merges two. Try: Say: "One section per question, in order: 4.2, 6.1, 9.3, 12.1, 14.1."
- Statements instead of questions. The AI writes observations. Try: Say: "Each ends with a question mark."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold, headings and bullets by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and usually runs long, so a vague "keep it short" lands over the limit. Try: Cap each part instead of the total, for example "each line under 15 words".
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets the count
- Asks to cite sections
- Rules out legal conclusions
- Requires question marks
- Asks for plain text
