- For Recruiters
- You practice Catching mistakes and made-up facts
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Scan the job post for phrases that could discourage people from applying for reasons unrelated to the job. Return a table with the header Original phrase | Replacement | Why. Include only phrases found in the post, in the order they appear. Replacement is under 8 words and describes the actual job need. Why is under 10 words. Do not change phrases that describe real requirements. Plain text, no bold. Add no commentary after the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Changing real requirements. The AI rewrites the lifting rule. Try: Say: "Do not change phrases that describe real requirements."
- Missing phrases. The AI catches only 'young'. Try: Say: "Scan the whole post for every phrase unrelated to the job."
- Long replacements. The AI writes full sentences. Try: Say: "Replacement under 8 words describing the actual job need."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
