Flag interviewer notes that should not go into the debrief
- For Recruiters
- You practice Catching mistakes and made-up facts
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Advanced
About this exercise
Go through the interviewer notes and produce a table with the header Note | Keep or Remove | Reason. One row per note line, same order. Keep only job-related evidence about abilities or experience. Remove anything about protected characteristics, family plans, appearance, accent, personal life or gut feeling without evidence. Reason is under 10 words. Plain text, no bold. You are flagging; HR reviews and the panel decides.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Keeping the family comment. The AI treats B as relevant to nights. Try: Say: "Remove anything about family plans or personal life."
- Judging the candidate. The AI adds an overall view of Chris. Try: Say: "You are flagging notes only. Do not evaluate the candidate."
- Different table. The AI adds columns or merges rows. Try: Say: "Header exactly Note | Keep or Remove | Reason, five rows in order."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
What a strong prompt includes
