- For Recruiters
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write the email to Mateo in plain text, under 100 words. First line exactly: Subject: Interview with Brightwell Foods. Offer exactly two time slots from the panel's open times, each with the time zone, and name the interviewers and the length. Ask him to reply with A or B. Last line exactly: Best, Riya (Recruiting). Do not mention salary or other candidates.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Slots that do not fit. The AI ignores his time-zone limits. Try: Say: "Convert to Central time and avoid before 10:00 am his time and Tuesday afternoons."
- Sharing too much. The AI mentions pay or other finalists. Try: Say: "Do not mention salary or other candidates."
- Own subject and sign-off. The AI writes its own. Try: Say: "First and last lines exactly as given."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
