About this exercise
Bridge the quarter's Commit total in exactly 4 plain-text lines starting Start:, Added:, Removed:, End:. Show the sum in Added and Removed like "270 = 150 + 120" and the End as "1,200 + 270 - 710 = 760" with your numbers. Removed includes slips, closed-won deals that left Commit and downgrades. Amounts in $K.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Leaving out closed-won deals. The AI treats them as still in Commit. Try: Add: "Removed includes closed-won deals that left Commit."
- Math not shown. The AI gives totals only. Try: Add: "Show the sums and the End equation."
- Dropping downgrades. The AI forgets Birch. Try: Add: "Include downgrades in Removed."
- Wrong format. The AI writes a table. Try: Add: "Four labeled lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Lists the four labels
- Shows the sums
- Defines Removed
- Asks for the End equation
- Plain text
