- For Revenue operations
- You practice Catching mistakes and made-up facts
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
You are reviewing a deal desk submission before it goes to Finance. Write a checklist with at most 5 lines, each in the form "- [ ] Field name: what is wrong or missing", under 18 words per line. List only real problems; do not mention fields that are fine. Add nothing before or after the checklist.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing fine fields. The AI recaps every field, including the correct ones. Try: Add: "List only problems; do not mention fields that are fine."
- Missing the 24 vs 36 mismatch. The AI trusts the entered term length. Try: Add: "Check the term length against the start and end dates."
- Skipping approvals. The AI misses the policy thresholds in the reminder. Try: Add: "Check discount and payment terms against the policy reminder."
- Intro and long lines. The AI opens with "Here is the review" and writes full paragraphs per item. Try: Add: "Each line: - [ ] Field name: problem, under 18 words. No intro. Under 90 words in total."
