About this exercise
A rep wants to commit Brightwater Foods even though the CRM stage looks early. Fill in the template as seven plain-text lines labeled exactly Deal:, Amount:, CRM stage:, Rep's call:, Evidence for:, Evidence against:, Needed to support the call:. Anything the rep says that isn't documented must be labeled "(rep-reported, undocumented)". Under 110 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Believing the verbal yes. The AI lists the COO's yes as solid evidence. Try: Add: "Label anything the rep says that isn't documented as (rep-reported, undocumented)."
- Missing the template labels. The AI writes a memo with its own headings. Try: Add: "Seven plain-text lines with exactly these labels: ..."
- Skipping the forecast rule. The AI doesn't check what the commit rules require. Try: Add: "Needed to support the call must come from the forecast rules."
- Verbose fill-in. The AI writes sentences for each field. Try: Add: "Under 110 words; one short line per label."
What a strong prompt includes
